About Me

I love the great outdoors and this world that we live in. Work is just a way to while away the time, but the great outdoors has a loud siren's call. Sometimes, work and nature are all the same. This good earth can be what we want it to be, but we need to work at it. Sometimes, the earth by its very soul is not so good to us and we need to work to repair it or to help others who are in need because of what havoc mother nature can reek. Rain , Rain, Go Away...

Sitting in my office, staring out the window, watching the rain coming down in sheets on the highway.  The weather has cooled considerably since the weekend when it appeared as though summer had ...

No more snow in New England

It's almost 60 degrees F outside today.  Just a little drizzle of rain, it's like early summer.  If you've ever seen "Inconvenient Truth", you have to wonder whether global warming is actual...

Happy new year!

Well the new year started as a rainy dreary day.  I spent several hours yesterday planting the fraser fir tree that had been our Xmas tree, all while it was raining. At least I didn't have to wat...

Don't need winter coats anymore!

Here's some good and bad news:  it's not so cold anymore, but that's because the earth is melting away.  There's not enough ice left at the northpole for the polar bears.  Everyone shou...

Post Xmas Blues

Blue skies, the days after the Xmas holidays are bright and clear.  There's a chilly snappiness in the air.  The mall down the street is clogged with people still shopping, or else returning...
