I have decided to create a Chip In! Widget to raise money for my home repairs that I cannot come up with. I live in a very old home, started home repair/remodel with the help of family, but things have been on hold for several years. I dont see how I will pay that or ever finish the things that are desperately needed.I also have a payment to start soon on the iMac I got through a school loan for my Graphic Design. My car also needs tie rods, ball joints and struts. With those two things that have to be a priority, there is no way I can work on my home. I would love to be able to mop my floors instead of hand scrubbing because of living on sub-flooring in several main rooms. I take care of homeless cats and have all but one altered (soon to be) to stop the growing colony.Yes I work, and No I dont get my child support most the time. If you can donate to this fund, I would Greatly Appreciate it!

The Winds of Forgiveness
This was posted on www.beliefnet.com
When someone does something to harm you, write your hurts in the sand. A parable for today.
Two friends were walking through the desert. During some point of the journey, they had an argument, and one friend slapped the other in the face. The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything wrote in the sand:
Today my best friend slapped me in the face.
They kept on walking until they found an oasis, where they decided to take a bath. The one who had been slapped got stuck in the mire and started drowning—but the friend saved him.
After he recovered from the near-drowning, he wrote on a stone:
Today my best friend saved my life.
The friend who had slapped and saved his best friend asked him, "After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now, you write on a stone. Why?"
The other friend replied: "When someone hurts us, we should write it down in sand where winds of forgiveness can erase it away. But, when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it in stone where no wind can ever erase it.
Learn to write your hurts in the sand and to carve your benefits in stone.

Site is Designed by Steven Law's Design Studio .
I have no idea what this movie is about... but if I still had my house and heated pool in Dallas, I could certainly do this quite often. LOL.
Loved seeing Brad Pitt with his long hair in Legend of The Falls !!! Wow !!! I like anything with Sandra Bullock... I think she is a fantastic actress. Loved the movie Indecent Proposal with Robert Redford, Woody Harrelson and Demi Moore. Recently watched Diary of a Mad Black Woman ... great show. Also watched Pacifier with that guy Von Diesel (hubba hubba !!) or whatever his name is... Great Movie.
My friend Zouysha always finds the coolest things...
When I had TV, I kept it mostly on HGTV, but I also watched The Weather Channel, Lifetime, Discovery Channel, TNT and watched some Nickelodeon with the kids. Now I watch YouTube videos of all kinds and MSN videos about the news, food and lifestyles

Rodeo Summer (renamed TRUE FATHER
*****“A young accountant suddenly finds himself immersed in a strange world. The world of a father he never knew. The world of rodeo. Within this compelling story line, Steven Law creates a well-paced novel with crisp prose, a deft knack for scene description, a flare for authentic dialogue, and a striking ability to conjure realistic characters. This novel reads like a work crafted by a master.†—Mike Blakely, Spur Award winning author of Summer of Pearls
*****“Rodeo Summer is a suspenseful love story —of many kinds—set in the immediate past and the fascinating present of the rodeo world. A fine read for any season.†—Max Evans, Author of Hi Lo Country
*****“Stern Values of the Old West still survive on today’s rodeo circuit, as Steven Law’s Rodeo Summer illustrates. A tenderfoot just out of school proves to himself that he is a man while coming to grips with the death of a cowboy father he never knew.†—Elmer Kelton, author of The Good Old Boys and seven-time Spur Award winner
***** THE LEGEND OF OLD BLUE by Steven Law *****Josh Timmons always wanted to be a cowboy, but ever since his father was killed by a rustler, his mother has forbid the lifestyle. But neither his approaching manhood nor his mother's pleas can stop him from chasing his dream, and he is hired on a trail drive by famous cattle baron Charles Goodnight. Life on the trail is more than he bargained for, but the love of cowgirl Beth Loving keeps him going, as well as the stamina of a lead steer named Old Blue, who teaches him the reality of cowboy life.

Before starting these two books, I hadn't read books in quite some time except for Graphic Design material. These books have been refreshing and intriguing reading material. My uncle is an avid reader of this genre and finished OLD BLUE in one day and RODEO SUMMER on another. He said Steven was a great writer...
I know he was lost in it because I had to ask him to put it down several times, give me his undivided attention, to talk business !!
View my Flash work on Steven Law's website designs !!
I am working with Steven on a few projects. He designs websites and has asked me to do some Flash work for him. The first one is Todd Allen Films
The one we are working on now is Western Writers of America Inc . My next project for the site is to design the drop-down menu for the buttons... so keep checking it out. I teach myself as I go, with the Flash program, and am getting excited about what I will be able to accomplish in the years to come.

I enjoy magazines such as Southern Living, Better Homes and Gardens, Home, Taste of Home, National Geographic, and Artist . The first thing I turn to in Southern Living is the house plans and then pencil in my own alterations.
