I am an artist. I've had a passion for art since I was very young, but my interest in photography began back in 2000 when I was just thirteen. Photography is my medium of choice, an art I use as a form of expression. Exploring landscapes, working with models and animals, I try to keep my work very diverse yet consistent. I love adding textures to my work and playing with the colors and contrast in them- I am very inspired by vintage photographs and how they tell a story of a simpler time. I participate in art galleries and other events. My work has been in exhibitions throughout Ohio, and also New York City.
Besides having the freedom to continue creating images of things I care about (animals and non-animals alike), I hope to make a living as a fine art animal photographer. I believe that in most households; the family dog, cat, horse, (or whatever it may be!) is just as much a member of the family as anyone else. Aside from this, I also am an animal activist, I've spent most of my life rescuing abused and abandoned animals. I'm the photographer for Stop the Suffering, a local rescue organization.
