Been into the rockin' scene since around 1977-8(ish).. Too many years to remember.. First rockin' venue was The Annex - Sale, then it was The Gorton Brook - Belle Vue, Midland Hotel - Didsbury, Lime Street Club - Dukinfield, Showboat Bar - Belle Vue, and not to forget The Pink Cadillac Club - Denton, Stockport Town Hall & The Imperial in Stockport and of late The Nifty 50's Rock 'N' Roll Club.
Lost count of the amount of bands that I've seen come and go over the years, but I bet there was a fair few!I'm married to Julie (since 1988), and have 2 kids (Bethany & Corinna).. As far as I am concerned, the biggest event for me is when I meet new bands at our club, and the kick I get out of doing brief interviews with them. There are so many interesting bands still out there and there doesn't seem to be a shortage of interesting people either. It would be difficult for me to pin point one particular band or person above any of the other acts that arer currently touring.. I simply think that they are all amazing, and do a fantastic job..
