Gettin up and gettin down! shakin' my groove thing, spinning rekkidz, getting rid of 90 degree angles wherever possible, global/social responsibilty, modern furniture design, pilates, yoga, graffiti art, lo-brow street art, travel, NYC, Norway, Finland, unique architecture, Irish car bombs, talking about music for hours and hours and hours, style, delicious food, stimulating conversation, cats, independence, holding it down, intelligent people, creative people, sparkly eyeshadow, art books & magazines.A brief glimpse of what I do at my job:
Artists. Deejays. Intellectuals. Thinkers. Dreamers. Counter-culturalists. Idealists. Revolutionaries. Maybe some animals, as they are usually nicer than people.
People with money, who need help with style (and want to pay me to help them, hehe).
If I had my way people who abuse animals or fight dogs would all be sent to an animal-free island to fend for themselves and leave animals the hell alone.
When I was 20 years old, I briefly dated this jackass who told me that in 10 years I wouldn't be listening to electronic music because it was just a phase that I would grow out of. (he really was an ass)
If I ever see him again, I am going to kick him in the shins and say "HA! Piss off you ignorant fool."
Left of center films... dark comedies, thoughtful indies, arty foreign, cheesy gore...
I don't very much like television. The shows I liked aren't there anymore. Like Arrested Development. I am intrigued by Nova and other educational programs on PBS. Sometimes I will leave PBS cooking programs on because my cat likes to watch them. I'm serious.
I need to read more books. Any recommendations?
