Rocking the Midlands!

About Me

This page is less about me and more about the band, Sore Point. We are a melodic heavy rock band based in the Nottingham area, playing the usual pub and club circuit. The band has existed since 2001 but in its current Mk3 format since 2003, the members being Chris Lee (Vocals/Guitar/Keyboards), Chris Maguire (Guitar), Tich Lee (Drums/Percussion/Vocals) and myself, Phil Grimwade (Bass/Vocals). We all have 'real' jobs so this is a paying hobby, we basically want to enjoy ourselves playing the music that we, and hopefully our audience, love. We play a mixture of covers and originals with songs from or influenced by the music of the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and Present DayHave a look at www.sorepoint.info for more Home | Browse | Search | Invite | Film | Mail | Blog | Favorites | Forum | Groups | Events | Videos | Music | Comedy | Classifieds

Support acts

Empty Rooms (Where we learn to play without audiences)

Well, The Bell in Nottingham was heaving, we've been rebooked for more shows off the back of a stonking gig there lately. We'll also be following the Licencees of the Devonshire Arms off the A610 to t...
