I am a double Bass musician. I currently play in. The BobKats: www.bobkats.infoI play slap style that is as you play the string in the pull, you pull up and to the side a little and let the string slap back onto the finger board. You can also hit with fingers and or palm as your hand comes back in the pluck the string, again creating a loud click. When you put these together you can get a rythmic clicking sound we call slap.I have just been sponsored by The Bass Shop in Sydney this is a great honour for me.
