Music has always come first in my life and I started playing keyboard at the tender age of 7 and havent looked back since. I quickly realised that composing music came naturally to me, and around the age of 13 I started writing poetry and songs to my melodies.I was offered to join heaps of bands at high school but was told by my folks that good girls dont join bands and so I lost a lot of oppurtunities (its ok dad I forgive you). My mum kept feeding my habit though and eventually after leaving the nest, I started to dedicate more time into writing, composing and singing.My music has evolved with my attitude over the years and I am always keen to express myself in many different ways without sounding like everyone else. As a londoner (WE F*%KIN ROCK YEAH) living amongst different cultures, I had a field day discovering all the sounds available to me on the streets.... growing up in Southall, I was surrounded by bollywood, bhangra, roots/dub, jungle and hip-hop music. On moving to North London, I started listening to all the other stuff - Latin, Rock, Punk, Cuban, Drum & Bass, Grunge, Ambience, Soul, Trance and House. I was in music heaven...I have since worked with other artists/producers (who I cannot name for legal reasons so lets call them tossers) and sort of gave up for a while.BUT I DIDNT thanks to heaps of encouragement from close friends.....so back to the present day I would describe myself as a raw, hungry, passionate, multi-talented artist who is trying to become established in this crazy world of music lovers. Watch this space for some of my compositions and lyrics.My new track PAYBACK is a basic outline of my vocals.. i am interested in working with different producers as i have many styles and am looking for open mic sessions tooCmon ARTISTS, PRODUCERS..
