MyGen Profile Generator Dave began his musical journey at the age of 9 learning to play the bagpipes. At 13, Dave took on the guitar and formed and played in various bands playing: - pop, rock, soul and jazz - quite an eclectic mix, and performed in amateur musicals, and community events such as The Sydney Olympic Bid Celebrations, City Festivals, and charity events during his school years. In 1995 Dave began playing professionally and from then until now Dave has worked in every conceivable situation you might think of and venue around Sydney/NSW Australia for that matter. Dave then started working as an acoustic soloist, as well as in his own acoustic duo, his 3 and 4 piece band. Dave has supported such artists as Choirboys, Brewster Bros(Angels), Marcia Hines, Angry Anderson, Brooke McClymont, The Foundations(Build Me Up Buttercup) and more, and has worked major and minor venues everywhere from Cairns to Melbourne and beyond........ Dave has performed gigs on all levels, with all people. Last year alone (2006) saw Dave perform 320 shows for that calendar year, an amazing effort but also a testament to his popularity, ability, hard work, and a willingness to bring joy and fun to peoples lives through music! At 29 years of age, Dave's years of experience, his youthful exuberance and his entertaining nature is sure to have audiences of any age enthralled with his mesmerizing vocal ability and captivating performances.
