LIVE ACTS

Analog Pussy are Jiga and Jinno, a girl/boy trance duo located in Germany. Jiga was born in Jerusalem and played bass for metal bands. Wanting be more than a bassist, she bought a $50 synthesizer and a computer and began producing on her own.

Jinno, a synthesizers freak, was experimenting with noises and sounds from age 16. He built a studio in his parents storage room and produced music 18 hours a day. The two met and formed Analog Pussy in 1997.

Paul Didge has been playing the didgeridoo for 15 years and is known as one of the UKS leading didgerioo players(quoted by BBC radio Wiltshire), blending the trance inducing sound of the didgeridoo with electronic music ranging from chill out to trance and drum'n' bass. during his life of playing the didgeridoo it has taken him on many adventures in his life.

Paul has played internationally with various Djs and live acts starting with a residency at Trance Buddha psy-trance club Amsterdam(1997),Which led to a appearance at the Dance Valley festival to 15,000 people. He has appeared live and on recordings with Baladidge, Atmosfire and Astral Projection(Israel), Dragonsfly, I Fly, C.D.F, El-plazmo, Mother Gong, Altered native, Dreamachine, ZubZUB, Trancient Dreams, OOOD, Eat Static and Voice of Cod(U.K) and supported the Orb in Israel.

Paul's latest musical endeavours include Folk Stomper (Rohan White) on flutes, melodica, percussion and various weird sounds. This extra live element to Pauls live set adds another musical dimension to the already psychedellic world of Paul's music.

Paul's gigs have included Sunrise festival (main stage twice), Waveform Project (5 gigs on the main stage with dream machine, Oood, Zubzub, Eat static, Earthdance ceremony and his own gig at chai wahhlas.), Tribe of frog(3 times),The synergy project(3 times), Offworld, Glade, Big green gathering, Glastonbury Festival to mention just a few.

Twisted ReAction / Analog Child (a.k.a. Edvin Alperavitch) is from Lithuania and actually living at Israel since ten years ago. He has been into music since he was really young and at the age of twelve he got introduced in the electronic scene.

Edvin has been always experimenting with the music production at his early ages,influenced with jungle,d&b,techno and some other styles. At the age of eighteen, he saw a real studio in friends home and decided to build his own professional studio. Since then, he has been working hard and finally the Twisted ReAction project was born.

The styles of full-on he is making are both morning and night time. He has already released many tracks on different labels and has also released his debut album "Action" on Geomagnetic Records.His friend Nathan (aka Dr.Spook,manager of Geomagnetic) made alot of promotion on Twisted ReAction project and for this Edvin is very thankfull to him.

Now Twisted ReAction is doing his album tour including countrys like Germany, Holland, Usa, Brazil and more.

Some of you may know Doctor Spook from his interview in the now cult classic DV documentary film Liquid Crystal Vision exploring the worldwide trance music scene.

HE STARTED DJING IN 98 AT BURNING MAN. HIS LATEST PROJECT IS HIS LIVE AUDIO VIDEO ACT: MINDSTORM, A FUSION OF IMMERSIVE VISUALS AND HIS OWN PSYTRANCE PRESENTED LIVE. A PILLAR IN THE SF PSYTRANCE SCENE, KNOWN FOR CREATING AMAZING PARTIES WITH THE PHOENIX FAMILY. NATE IS ALSO A PRODUCER & DIRECTOR AT MINDS EYE MEDIA IN SF SINCE 95.

MINDSTORM (aka Nathan Vogel aka Doctor Spook) has morphed into an amazing LIVE VISUALS AND MUSIC project that Doctor Spook has been realizing from the SAN FRANCISCO based GEOMAGNETIC World Headquarters. Many High Quality Visual Music projects are being completed astounding the world with the masterful creations and lucid dreams.

Musically Spook is collaborating with a stream of the worlds leading musical masterminds inlcuding Tamir Ozana from Atomic Pulse, Chromatone and Random, Altom, Earthling, Central Processing Unit, Twisted Reaction and soon several new projects with Ovnimoon and Sidhartha. Mindstorm has a strong concept with each track, a detail lacking in much of todays dance music.

DJ PERFORMANCES

There is an ancient myth that was lost long ago. In Ancient Greece, on the night of the full moon, the call of horns could be heard gathering animals and people alike to the Temple of Artemis to send their praises to the night sky.

As they gathered, a tribal beat united them in their chants to the Huntress to keep them safe throughout the celebration. As the night wore on, whispers throughout the Temple could be heard saying one phrase; “Sing, Dance, Make Music and Love,” and the people did…

Clare Large needs very little introduction when it comes to the UK underground scene. Resident for the infamous Bristol based event, RIPSNORTER, Clare joins the Psylicious crew to bring the parties her unique sound as a chill / ambient room DJ.

Or if your wanting a little bit of techno as well then we give to you, Clare Large. 2006 saw Clare come second in the UK National DJ competition run by super club brand Cream. Clare also makes a yearly visit to the Black Rock Desert in Nevada USA to play at the legendary festival that is BURNING MAN.

Ed Tangent (PHANTASM RECORDS UK) / Sunrise along with countless gigs across Europe has paved the way for Ed, right to the fore front if not from the beginning of the UK Psy Trance scene!

During 94 – 95 with the help of friends involved with the free party scene (pre CJB) he co-promoted Vortex nights in Manchester. Demand from other Manchester promoters grew and he took residencies with Ambicus and Loony productions.

Then one day at a free party Ed met Christo K who was playing ‘Goa Trance’. Ed was immediately taken with the sound and teamed up with Christo K (H20 Records) and Matt Allaby (Nano Records) to form Sunrise Manchester.

Sunrise established itself as one of the leading nights in Manchester and gave Ed a platform to play each month to a capacity crowd. Bookings across the UK came in for him including nights such as Tribal Heart (London), Kundalini (London/leeds), Alpha Wave (Plymouth/ Lizard festival), Tribe of Frog (Bristol/Waveform sunrise festival), Megadog Beach festival, Tipi’s Unlimited (Glastonbury Festival/ Tipi valley) and regular guest sets for the legendary Return to the Source (The Rocket/Brixton Academy/Cloud 9/Megadog).

He also found bookings coming from Europe and repeatedly played at the then infamous Amsterdam Goa trance club Trance Buddha. Ed has also been part of the Music conference ‘In the City’ and was the first Psy trance FM radio show to ever broadcast in the UK (maybe the world) with live acts, Dj mixes and once having the comedian Keith Allen co present the show. Ed has also been a guest mix DJ for several Manchester radio shows including ‘The Jon Berry’ techno programme on Piccadilly radio. Ed has also played at the birth place of Goa/Psy trance in Goa India, and at the millennium parties was invited to play the New Years Eve party at the Hill top.

Ed is also becoming a festival favourite with peak slots on the festival circuit including, The Glade (liquid connective/Earthheart), Sunrise Family Gathering (Tribe of Frog/Wave form) and Shamania, Ed has also brought His night Sunrise to the Sol-fest (Cumbria) Dance tent for the last three years filling the marquee beyond capacity each time.

Ed is now signed up to the UK based record label Phantasm Records as one of their DJs along side his contemporaries John Ford, Dickster (ADM, Green Nuns) and internationally acclaimed super star live act Eskimo!

Earth Angel started in the scene 13 years ago in the very early days, playing mainly to the outdoor parties that were local to his area. Influenced by the sound of bands like Hawkwind, Ozric Tenticles and many more, he stayed true to the psychedelic sound of dance music.

Parties like(Pre 2000); Gold, Mix-Dup, Fundamental SS as well as events like It’s Delicious all had the pleasure of hearing his combined non pigeon holed style of Psy, Goa laced with harder trance at that time.

Now one half and part owner of The Psylicious Collective with Mistress Jade, as well as being co host of the Psylicious Radio show and resident for all Psylicious branded tours / events, complimenting performances by Mistress Jade

DJ Meghan has been in the EDM scene since the spring of 1998 when her then boyfriend/now husband took her to her first event. In the spring of 2000, she had her first gig (Think Different) in Columbus, OH and has been spinning out on a regular basis ever since.

She started spinning mostly techno, progressive house and progressive trance but every now and then would also buy some psytrance records to add to her collection. It wasn't until early 2003 when she decided to get more involved with spinning psytrance when DJ Malachi (Goahead Productions) persuaded her to do so.

Meghan is now a very well known DJ in the Eastern Midwest, and her sets will take you on a journey, with mixes that are very well constructed using tracks from all genres of psytrance music.

Polish/USA Psychedelic trance DJ MISTRESS JADE, has been making waves in the Global ocean of Psychedelic & Goa trance, firmly standing her ground as she continues to enlighten the crowds before her with her unique sound.

Her devotion and inner development, along with understanding has paved the way forward for Mistress Jade, as she raises the climate at all the parties that have had the honour of hearing this dynamic DJ.

Mistress Jade’s wizardry on the CD Decks is nothing but seamless and flawless as she blends with definition a full journey of psychedelic audio pleasure, that is gradually transpiring Mistress Jade to the forefront of the electronic dance music scene she is so passionate about.

Mistress Jade is not just a DJ, Mistress Jade is a performer, full of audio & visual crowd interaction behind the audio alter as the dance floor responds back in admiration. With a recent sponsorship deal with UK based Chameleon Creations and a second tour in Europe for 2007, Mistress Jade is certainly turning many heads.

Each a DJ in their own right, they decided to join forces in 2006 - Mistress Jade being known for her energetic, melodic, and driving psychedelic full-on sets...Artemis being known for her powerful, fast, and dark psychedelic sets.
