Born and raised on the east-side of Savannah, Ga, Rob aka Big Rob got interested in music in 1993. Earlier once a member of "Southern KenfolK", the group would tour around the city performing in local clubs, concerts, bars, etc. Struggling to find original music and beats to fit the group. Rob started getting his hands dirty with producing on his own. After deciding to move to Atlanta in 03', Big Rob hooked up with numerous of groups laying down tracks and engineering. Now part of Dimeboy Ent. and member of Killa Hill, Rob has done work for Cotty, Killa Hill, Shaleaf, Big Blake, Black Angel, self and many more artists out side the label. His inspiration in rap and production coming up was tupac, 8ball & MJG, Scarface, NWA, Biggie, Outkast, UGK, Beats by da pound, DRE, & Timberland just to name a few. He learned the art of music from watching his father DJ parties in the late 80's & early 90's and by studying other musicians and producers. Rap was always one of his main ambitions and the idea of producing didn't come until he notice that if you wanted to get good tracks, you had to pay good money. Being that there was no budget for tracks, and not many people to get good tracks from, Rob decided to put the work into his own hands. Starting off with a 61 key yamaha, he quickly learned to use what he could afford. Thru the years he upgraded to some of the top software and hardware equipment on the market such as protools, reason, triton 84, triton 61, mpc1000 & logic. Now after several years OF grinding, He now can get his recognition for both Rapping & Producing.
