In a time when the lyrical MC isn't as
important as it use to be General Heat
stands up for all true MC's. His distinct style,
double entendre word play, witty punchlines,
and ability to adapt to any musical
environment show why his presence is
significant. Born and raised in Baltimore,
Maryland, Oct. 24, 1986, General Heat
became a force in Hip-Hop by combining
his love for Rock and Roll and poetry. It
wasn't until he was 14, when he moved to
Atlanta, Georgia, that the puzzle pieces
began to come together. Already lyrically
aware, General Heat would now include the
feel of Crunk music into his arsenal.
Molding himself and perfecting his craft,
General Heat was training himself to be the
best. His inspiration comes from MC's such
as Jay-Z, Tupac, Kanye West, Biggie, Bone
Thugs, Eminem, Outkast and many more.
He never recorded anything until he was 17
years old and this is where years of training
would pay off. After recording many
different songs and conquering many
different styles of rapping, he felt it was time
to show everyone else the gift he
possessed. Ever since then, General Heat
A.K.A. Prince of the Flow has not stopped in
his quest to make it to the top. He's done
various open mic showcases such as “Atl’s
Most Wanted†held at the world famous
“Royal Peacockâ€, “Hustle and Flow
Mondays†held at Club Crucial and many
more local talent shows to get his name
known. He’s also performed on televised
showcases such as, “Platinum Planet
Showcase†and “Urban Idolâ€. He's even
taken initiative to learn the music business
for himself. Every A&R is looking for
someone or something different, original,
Hot, yet marketable. General Heat is
remarkable and his music is timeless.
