About Me
Elder Marquis Boone is a native of Baltimore, Maryland. He understood at the tender age of thirteen that he had a purpose on his life. That purpose is to fulfill the commission of Christ. Marquis Boone was licensed as a minister at the age of fourteen. He completed high school in two and a half years; graduating at the age of sixteen. One year after graduating from high school he was ordained as an Elder and he received the title of Youth Pastor. God raised up a standard in Boone so that he could in turn raise up a standard in the youth and adults of today!
Boone has come too far from where he started to stop now. He has attended World Harvest Bible College and currently pursuing a master’s degree at Luther Rice University. He is a graduate from America Intercontinental University where he received a Bachelors degree in Business Administration with a minor in Management. He continues to trail-blaze pathways for the generation. At the age of twenty, he accepted the position of Youth Pastor at New Mercies Christian Church where Elder Jesse Curney III is senior Pastor.
New Mercies youth ministry is currently called RAW (Real Anointed Worshippers), a name that was birthed from Boone’s spirit. The youth ministry has grown to over 2000 young people and still counting. Boone is a motivational speaker, teacher, prayer warrior and a preacher. He recently released a book “Closer to your Dreamâ€. This book will take you to your divine destination and cause your God given dream to live. Boone has been a guest on ABC, NBC, gospel touch, Atlanta live, and prophetic times. Boone has also been published in 4 real magazine, Gwinnet times, the Baltimore sun, and Atlanta journal constitution just to name a few.
