About Me

Rita brings elegance, grace and a feminine element to the predominately male music industry. Prior to pursuing an accounting degree, Rita studied classical piano for seven years at the Washington, DC annex of the Sherwood School of Music. Being raised in the metropolitan DC area allowed Rita’s varied and eclectic taste in music to flourish. She includes Patti LaBelle, Phyllis Hyman, and Teena Marie as her personal motivational influences. Her industry contacts find Rita’s contributions invaluable. She is actively involved in artist development by giving tutorials in etiquette, public speaking and stage presence. Rita’s involvement with the music industry has inspired her to follow the paths of female industry groundbreakers Sylvia Rhone and Suzanne De Passe. Those industry insiders who have had the pleasure of meeting Rita know it’s only a matter of time.
