About Me

Cotty an East Atlanta native is the hottest new act budding from the Southern Hip Hop music scene. Not the typical Atlanta rapper, Cotty has a chameleon like style to his lyricism that becomes almost instantly infectious. Cottys music flows with ease as it can hype you with a crunk beat, slow you down and return you to mid tempo all the while varying the story he tells. Cotty definitely has taken rap in its truest form and has given it his own flavor.Cotty has been honing his skills on the mic for 10 years. Seriously devoting himself to rapping during lunch table battling while still in high school, Cotty took center stage at a school talent show and has been moving crowds ever since. His style is a product of musical influence and ingenuity. Influenced by artists such as Earth Wind and Fire, Isley Brothers, Tupac, OutKast and Scarface, Cottys music is a hybrid of old school classic R&B and hip hop. Cottys album is full of banging tracks that reflect this blend of musical styles, he can switch from crunk to laid back to love making and back to crunk again. He credits his mid tempo flow as giving hip hop connoisseurs the best of both worlds. When one takes a listen to Cottys songs, the songs are universal. His songs are easy to relate to from the streets to the suburbs. From club bangers, street soundtracks to ride to, to slow and easy, Cottys got what you need.
