The first reaction I get when I tell people my name is Mike Sneezzy is that they laugh, shocked, amazed, impressed and ladies thanks its real cute. All of those labels suits me and my persona very well. I was born to be a producer, every great and awesome achievement I have ever encountered in my life was the X-Factor of music.
Memories ranging from my first kiss to my first dance to my first love: ALL WAS A RESULT TO MUSIC. Making beats is an art form and I like to consider myself “Da Vinci of Instrumentalsâ€. My style and my approach to music is far more complex and intellectual then most producers in the industry today.
I have that “it†factor meaning u really can’t put your finger on what you are actually hearing. Some say my genre is Hip-Hop but its not Hip-Hop or its RnB but mysterious (ha-ha) even my rock n roll beats are mixed with a different genre so when people sit down and listen to each note and key instruments…its like watching Da Vinci himself drawing a painting in person.
Im not trying to say that Im the best thing smoking out of the cannon but instead stating the fact that I am different and unique with my production skills. Some producers are only good in one style or even copycat other producers beats by altering the pitch or adding more instruments or rearranging the melodies but its still not original but a mere mutated clone of someone else’s work. The most influential and inspirational producers that made me proud to fulfill this childhood dream of mine are Timbaland, Polow da Don & Swizz Beatz but I also love Lil Jon as well…I mean I grew up on his music being from the South (Louisiana) lol.
These producers I became accustomed to and wanted to be better than one day because they are different and if you are different in this music industry you will always be called upon. Being different is always better than being like everyone else or “the next so&so.â€
I am truly blessed that God gave me this talent to produce and have a good creative mind. I truly think outside the box when it comes to any idea: big or small!! It has to be unique and “weird†to some degree.
I only been semi-professionally making beats for a little over 1 year but the results and feedback I have been receiving shoud be from those of pure pros in the game or who have been making beats longer than I have. That shows me that Im ready for the big leagues…Im an amatuer boxer stepping in the ring with Heavyweight champions and walkin out of that squared circle with the title.
I am the ultimate underdog but my bite is real fiecre and I will not take No for an answer…there is a reason why im here and that’s to become the best producer before my prime!
