About Me

.. MySpace ♥Red Rosary consists of Emma Bortolon-Vettor on lead guitar, Sara Bortolon-Vettor on the drums/percussion/keys/vocals, Emma Tarbush on Bass and our newest member, Dana Bellamy on the drums. Red Rosary is an all-girl instrumental rock band from Guelph, Ontario. Emma and Sara, started the band in 2003/2004 and recorded there first 10 track self titled cd in the summer of 2005. Emma T. joined in to fill in the bass. Soon they started to jam together, record, and create instrumental rock songs in Emma and Sara's basement. Then Dana joined and they created a mass amount of tunes ready to blow the minds of youth. We are currently working on some new material with vocals!

Nine bands from five local high schools participated last night. The Space Cadets, from John F. Ross, were second, and Red Rosary, from St. James, were third. Fatema Raheemi, a Ross student, said she was happy to see all-girl band Red Rosary impress the judges. "I'm a female musician," she said. "It's nice to see it's not just an all-guy thing." - February 29, 2008MAGDA KONIECZNA- MERCURY STAFF- GUELPH
