Rainbow TextT.F. Hippie's is one of Galveston's coolest shops in the downtown area. Just off the Strand, this unique, crazy-fun shop is the only place on the island where you can find a gift for every occasion, be treated with personal customer service, and stay within your budget. Brought to the island by a mother/daughter team hailing from the Austin area, this shop carries items ranging from the nostalgic(pedal cars, tin toys, wind-ups, puzzles, magic and jokes, marbles and games) to the collectible(Elvis, Beatles, Grateful Dead, Marilyn Monroe, and Simpsons) from the strange(body parts in goo, my first skeleton, avenging unicorn playset, bacon band-aids, and crazy cat lady action figure)to the almost indecent(Humphrey the humping dog, vibrating soap, weener kleener, voodoo dolls and george bush toilet paper).
