About Me

Extended Network Banner made with MyBannerMaker.com! Click here to make your own! 'Mid pleasures and palaces though we may roam, Be it ever so humble there's no place like home!Yellowhammer-It is Alabama's state bird, during the Civil War Confederate soldiers from Alabama were called Yellowhammers. After the war at reunions the old timers would put a Yellowhammer feather in their hat band... I like Civil War re-enacting, because I always wanted to travel back in time and it doesn't take much imagination to do that. I should have been born a long time ago, I relate to the old way of doing things. You know you're misplaced in time when you see a pretty girl and think: I wonder what she looks like in a hoop dress... I like history and art, and my paintings and drawings seem to reflect this. I have a real eclectic music taste, I like Civil War music, White Zombie, Bill Monroe, Tool, Chris Ledoux, Alice in Chains, Merle Haggard. I just listen to what I like. I am interested in historic arts/crafts, I've made powder horns, beeswax candles, and I cast my own lead bullets. My main interest in the Civil War is the life of the Confederate enlisted soldier from 1862-1865. I edited my profile at MsPremade.com . check out these Myspace Layouts!
