Greatest claim-to-fame thus far was that 1st record- - inspired by a ROLLERCOASTER -the Beast- and recorded in a PINEAPPLE FACTORY in Honolulu: an original new-wave adrenaline-rush electro-pop radio smash on the legendary 102.7 RADIO FREE HAWAII {that cool station that went to number 1 on Rolling Stone magazine's annual 'Best Radio Station In America' poll for several years during the 90's}. WILD RIDE was featured in the station's NO LABEL Song Discovery Contest, beating out 600 other submissions and placed in a competition with 4 other songs broadcast on the air with the public chosing the winner;WILD RIDE won the contest with the prize being heavy rotation, becoming a continuous staple on the playlist as the single sold out at local music retailers. The popularity of WILD RIDE also prompted invitations for - the popular weekly 90's dance party i cooked up at the legendary PINK CADILLAC nightclub in Waikiki, where i tried on several hats as DJ/promoter/conceptual director.
