About Me

mitchQ is a TripHop/Downbeat artist, living in Cologne, Germany. He produces his tracks according to the various kinds of inspirations, be it sounds, be it nature, art, human interactions or whatever. His deep sounds often combined with vast pad sounds layer the background for sometimes surprising peaks and add-ons in the arrangement. A returning style element of mitchQ-tracks are poems and spoken word perfomances embedded in the sound, taking the song container to a further border and allowing it to be a storytellers framework, delivering an intense and present atmosphere of wisdom and calm perfection.
