CRYSTINAn independent label co-owner and accomplished singer-songwriter and producer of elegantly stylish and sensitive pop-songs and ambient chill-out music is looking for a license deal to distribute her work in the UK, the USA, Japan and other interesting territories. Her first single and current release 'You Make My Day' was a radio hit in Germany (Number 1 in Radio Berlin - in the Top Ten elsewhere in Germany) in both English and Japanese versions. She can deliver her material mastered and ready-to-press.From the age of 14 Crystin has been singing and writing songs, at first simply on the piano, which she plays with a delicate touch and great sensitivity. Later she used basic recording equipment to put her songs on tape or on CD.Keeping the dream of becoming a professional songwriter mostly to herself, she headed for university after leaving school to study law. Inevitably, though, her passion for music drew her into the music business.She established a studio of her own and started a successful career free-lancing for ad agencies, composing music for corporate events, image films and radio and TV commercials. She enjoyed her work but still thought there had to be more to the music business than this, finding in herself the need to release her own songs to express her feelings and personal style.In 2003 she became an important creative force at electic-lounge, an innovative record label specialised in lounge music which she now heads with the brilliant producer Wasja Schulz. In 2005 the idea to cut Crystins first solo album PopLounge was born.Crystin decided to produce most of her songs on her own. To enhance a number of songs she recruited the talents of musicians of caliber such as Michel van Dyke, AKMusique and Philipp van Endert.The resulting album, PopLounge is an accomplished, multi-faceted work that speaks for itself. PopLounge embodies Crystins conception of music where the songs, each a perfectly fashioned, unique vignette, span the broad range of lifes moods from ecstatic happiness to reflective melancholy.An advocate of originality and a free spirit, Crystin is not beholden to convention.
