God is not dead but alive and well and working on a much less ambitious project.

About Me

Hi, my name is Bill. I live with Sue my wife of 25 years and Billy my son of 17 years. He has Asperger's Syndrome, a type of Autism that makes him difficult to say the least. He doesn't even want to learn how to drive or plan for a career. Instead he's planning on walking into the wilderness and living off the land in a different country. My daughter Christy lives with her significant other Steven and my wonderful 4 year old grandson Bayden. For the past 7 months I've been trying to live with severe back pain after an on the work injury. The Work Comp Drs and the Work Comp insurance company didn't fix my back, told me to get used to the pain and sent me back to work. I had a nervous breakdown and almost crashed my car just to get admitted to a hospital and get something for pain. On 7/26/07 I saw my HMO's Spine Specialist and within less than an hour of starting treatment my pain and depression had dropped to a tolerable level. I'm still having anxiety attacks because of being sent back to work with the pain untreated. You can see from my blogs (if you’re very bored) what an ordeal my family, my friends and I have been through during the past few months.

My Interests

Playing games like Dirt, Forza 2 and Need For Speed: Carbon on X-Box 360. I think I used to like sex, but I don't remember for sure. I like computers and they like me most of the time. I also like fast cars and fast bikes. Problem is I push computers, cars and bikes to their limit and they die. I get really sad when things die.

I'd like to meet:

The wonderful people who share their lives with me via MySpace.

Music:

My favorite band is Pink Floyd, but I like almost everything from AC/DC to ZZ Top. Right now I've got Gnarles Barkley, Goldfrapp and CSS in the CD player because I liked their songs I heard while playing Forza 2. I also like Bag of Toys and 3 Days Grace after hearing them on MySpace.

Movies:

Call me weird, but I love "What if..." Sci-Fi movies like Blade Runner, Mad Max 1-3, Demolition Man, Tank Girl, A Boy and His Dog, World Gone Wild and The Matrix. I also love comedies like Spaceballs, BASEketball, Young Frankenstein, Shaun of the Dead, The Princess Bride and Hot Fuzz. Last but not least I also love action adventure movies like Pirates of the Caribbean 1-3, Fast and the Furious 1-3, Star Wars 1-6, Live Free or Die Hard and 300.

Television:

I love Lost, Heroes and The Riches, too bad they're on summer vacation. I love watching Survivorman and Man vs. Wild on the Discovery channel, American Chopper on TLC, Pinks on the Speed channel and I can usually find something interesting on the History channel.

Books:

For some bizarre reason I've only read books and graphic novels about zombies for the past few months.

Heroes:

My family, my friends and the healthcare professionals that are helping me get better.
