EMS formed from the satellite town of Worthing in their early teens, small town misfits kicking it against society and all of life’s miserable expectations. Aged 21 they are now tackling the challenge of escaping the straight jacket of the small town syndrome. On their side "passion, poetry and some truly innovative guitar sounds". Described as "Fucking Fantastic Expansive rock" by Drowned in Sound. EMS manage to master their hypnotic musical storytelling, with layers of lyrical content, through which the lines of genre disappear into the haze. Consistently executing live performances with decisive deliverance, EMS have set out to create something bigger and more important than you have heard before. With important musical reference points including: And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, Cursive, Interpol, Radiohead and The Cure. The intricacies of the music become enchanted with cinematics, tension, desperation and the drama of the delivery. The epic guitar orchestration simply perches neatly on top.
