I've been playing in a band called downward facing dog for about 5 years. You can find them among my myspace friends.

I've been spending a lot of time in Detroit this last year and recording some stuff in a little basement studio. With the help of the downward facing dog guys, when I'm in California, and other people in Detroit and in Topanga, I've been layering tracks of my own stuff. There is, of course, some overlap. But "my stuff" includes more softer music where the band is more raucous.
