... finished composition studies with Zoran Eric (Serbia&M.N.) and Louis Andriessen (Holland) both guys absolutely great teachers (and composers) also some studies with Ton de Leeuw, Nigel Osborne, Dimiter Christoff, Srdjan Hofman..thanks to my father, (had gig as a violin player), I was born in Kuwait in 1968., then grew up in Belgrade (where I had a big time), and now ..well, all up in North(at least south of Holland) in Rotterdam. I did spend 5-6 years in Amsterdam, went to all concerts, married ..divorced.. its a great city.. but so far, NY is my favorite.. energy or something..I had a few big times in my life, first one in 1991 Gaudeamus competition (first time in Holland, still a student..you can imagine), 2nd time in 1997- won the Irino Prize in Tokyo for my piano non-concerto Mundus Sensibilis (been there 9 days / 2 performances / fantastic musicians -New Japan Philharmonic), and 3rd time in 2001 when I finally got some better things to make music instantly ready to be heard(Nuendo, semplers..synths etc.)
I have wrote music for: Dusan Skovran string orch., Combustion Chamber, de Stichting Barka, Marcel Worms, Gamelan ensemble, Axyz Ensemble, Cobla la principal dAmsterdam, VPRO TV, 'Malle Symen Quartet', 'Ensemble Multifoon', film music (Sara Rajaei: While on my way and Charismatic faiths on vanishing dates ), Tatiana Koleva etc.CD: Full Auto Shut-Off (Combustion Chamber, VPRO EW 9843)
A Sad Smile Blues (Marcel Worms, NM Extra 98021)I am m also conducting in 3 choirs and I really love to work as a dirigent. Besides Im busy DJ-ing , sampling etc. with my band Cloud Society.just finished some great concerts with T. Koleva, with my last piece Metamorphosis for percussion (T.Koleva, tape and live electronic (me).
looking forward to the next project with Sara Rajaei (great artist) film music.. and to performances in Lantaren-Venster (Rotterdam) with Cloud Society in September...thanks for visiting my page..
