Virtual Sim GameI'm passionate about music.....I'm very loyale to my friends.....I love my family.....I am to the left politically; I'm a Democrat and a proud card-carrying member of the ACLU.....As of 8/9/08, I have earned a Doctor of Education degree, a goal I set when I was 19. How did I do that? Please see my blog about "determination!" The common question is, "What are you going to do with your doctorate?" Answer: be a better educator, a better person, and hopefully a good role model for my children and students.....I have been a band director since 1980. The 2007-2008 school year was my first in the Lake Dallas ISD. I am the Associate Director of Bands and Lead Conductor of 7th and 8th Grade Performing Ensembles. See our website at www.ldmsband.org I'm the webmaster and enjoy maintaining the site.....I have also taught private brass lessons for 4 years during various points of my career. I still teach some lessons on weekends......I am a professional euphonium player....I'm very excited that my professional brass quintet (THE BRASS TOUCH) has recently enjoyed some exposure in the Dallas/Fort Worth/Plano Metroplex. We perform at weddings, church services, ceremonies, dedication events, coporate events, parties, Christmas and Easter events, Veteran's Day ceremonies, Memorial Day ceremonies, commencements, baccalaureates, funerals, assemblies, receptions, celebrations, student events, grand openings, and more. We perform mostly classical music, wedding music, patriotic music, and ceremonial music; but we can mix in some jazz, pop, and folk music as well. We are an excellent brass group for background music, featured music, or anything in between! Our instrumentation is 2 trumpets, horn (French horn), euphonium, and tuba. We provide quality brass music anywhere in the Greater Dallas area Metropex (although we are based in Plano, Texas), including Dallas Metro suburbs such as Richardson, McKinney, Carrollton, Frisco, Grapevine, Mesquite, Allen, Irving, Lewisville, and Denton. Please visit my professional site at WWW.FAINMUSICSERVICES.COM For more information, click on "The Brass Touch" on the left sidebar.....Peace!
