I'm a 36 year old widowed parent of two wee children. They keep me busy during the day, and in the evening I listen to music, read books and watch the occasional film. I live in a small village not too far from Glasgow, Scotland.

Compulsion online grew out of the respected printed magazine Compulsion. Three issues were published during the nineteen-nineties before the publication moved online. Compulsion featured extensive and informative interviews with Coil, Death In June, Blood Axis, Changes, Foetus, Scorn, Mother Destruction, Lemonheads, Jim Rose, Nine Inch Nails, Boredoms, David Tibet on Tiny Tim, Sol Invictus, Somewhere In Europe, Whitehouse, Jim and Debbie Goad of Answer Me!, Manson archivist and film-maker John Aes-Nihil, label spotlights on Charnel House, The Grey Area of Mute Records.
