Your fear of death attracts such strange objects...

About Me

I created my own profile using nUCLEArcENTURy.COM and you should too!
Well, this ad kinda smuggled itself in here, but you have to give the guy credit, don't you think? Spared me the time to fiddle around w/ some nerdy programming bits.

Now, I like potatoes; doesn't matter if they're mashed, boiled, baked, fried...you name it, I've had it, I liked it. I just had a potato salad to other day and thought "God, where or what ever you are, thanks for the potato!"
I like to smell wet wood. Weird, I know, but that's how it is. Or, more to the point, a rainy forest. Hmm...
I like tattoos. Lots of tattoos.
I like Coffee. Lots of Coffee. Sometimes I can't stop myself and get all jittery.
I developed a strange addiction to Starburst Candy and sour Skittles. I'll do almost anything for it.
And meanwhile, I do all the things ordinary people do.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

People that smell of wet wood. (...) Nah, I guess it's enough that you are nice. Although, thinking about it, smelling of wet wood might be a plus. People who like pugs and French Bulldogs. People who can drown bears by jumping on their back while they're swimming towards coastal island in search for deer.

Music:

Jesu, Motörhead, Sisters of Mercy, Rob Zombie, Coil, Phallus Dei, Prong, Deutsch Nepal, CarterTutti, Current 93, Final, Di6, Chris Isaak, Thighpaulsandra, SPK, Die Form, Godflesh, very early Laibach, The Raveonettes, Underworld, Knifeladder, Naevus, 6 Comm, Boduf Songs, Alien Sex Fiend (before they started to suck), Massive Attack, The Cramps, Steve Reich (if you haven't heard of him, check out the "Variations" album!), some of Boyd Rice's stuff, Desiderii Marginis, Bohren & Der Club of Gore, Joy Division, Elvis Presley, Brainwashed Radio Podcast Edition, Legendary Pink Dots, Black Sun Productions, In the Nursery's soundtrack for "the cabinet of dr. caligari", Front 242, Shostakovich, Prokofjew, Rimski-Korsakow, etcetcetc.............

Books:

Recent books I read and liked: "Almanac of the Dead" by Leslie Marmon Silko; "Reservation Blues" by Sherman Alexie - and I read parts of Jim Goad's "Shit Magnet" again, just for the heck of it. Abish's "How German is it", everything by Raymond Carver. And recently I've taken a liking to Bukowski, even though it seems to be generally agreed upon that he is usually read by 18-year-olds. But "Notes of a Dirty Old Man" is great, as are some of his poems. I'm not a poetry-person, though. Mailer's "The Naked and the Dead" and "Executioner's Song", Ernst Juenger, Yukio Mishima, Joan Didion's non-fiction;...

Fiction = Reality?

We live in crazy times, it seems. Not only did some scientists discover some mineral resembling kryptonite. On the BBC's site it says:"Once the London expert had unravelled the mineral's chemical make...

Weird Guy Can Not Drink His Wine...

As far as nightlife is concerned this 'economically instable' town doesn't have that much to offer and due to a 'Last Call' policy in most bars the nights are not long. Nevertheless, the nights start ...

Suicide Food

I came across this blog - Suicide Food - this morning and it reminded me of a television ad I watched in Germany where mushrooms, a fish, cucumbers, etc. were all eagerly hopping unto a sheet of tinfo...

The Wonder Wheel and a peculiar medical practice

So I went to Coney Island last weekend. I love Coney Island, it's one of the nicer places in NYC. The beach and the boardwalk are great and there is of course the seediness of Coney Island itself, wit...

Snowsnowsnow...

I should have gotten into marine biology. Actually, when I was 12yrs old, I wanted to be one. That, or a paleontologist. Just look at this, the frilled shark spotted in Japan a few days ago...Supercoo...

Hi, my name is David and I'm a smoker.

This is my fourth day without a cigarette and I feel fine.[applause]Thanks. Actually, I'm having a cold right now, so that makes it easy to keep my hands off the cigs. Plus, my ATM card doesn't work, ...

Slumming

Finally, after months, I've visited the all-American icon: the MALL. And, mind you, not any mall, but a mall in the vicinity of this place that is on an economic slide down the toilet since the 1970s....
