My Interests

Music:

Band Members:

Influences: MyLittleHomie's Autumn Bangers............ Head man - Obrey Wilson (Philips), Laidback summer feel to it, rolling drums and guitar hooks aplenty........Think of Love - Love Sculpture,The heavy slapbacked drums and chunky riffs contained on this often slept on 45, has made it a JAZZCHESS classic over the years.........Save it - Lonette McKee (Sussex 1974), By the time this slow burner of a track finishes you'll be knodding your head and swingin your pants along to it.............. Heard it through the grapevine - The Electric Indian (United Artists), A classic B-boy, loop-tastic Break and a full power version of a well known tune......... W pogoni dnia - Wojciech Gassowski + Test (Pronit Pol'), Fuzz guitars, crispy drums, dancing bass line and loops galore!! But i hope the singer isn't putting anyone down as i don't speak Polish, i'm getting a translation sorted out though just incase............. Delhi Discoteque - Johnny Pearson (KPM 1968), The harmonica from hell blasts through this sitar dance floor stormer and like Marmite, you'll love it or hate it. (last track on my jazzchess mix.)............ Put your gun down brother - Riot (Motown 1974), Solid track with great percussion, tight beats and a breakdown towards the end that seems to float............... Switchblade - The Swing Masters (Tri-us 1972), Sounds like a Brainfreeze type piece, Infectious drums and screaming sax lead all the way through this hard track................. Timber - Grantby (Cup of Tea 1995), Enormous James Bond bass lines that shake buildings and move crowds!!............. Hang down your head Tom Dooley.. - The Incredible Bongo Band (second lp on Pride 1974), Sounds like the conga player from the 'Shaft in Africa' lp and the drummer from the Bongo Band had some 'Magic cake', got locked in a studio together and then knocked out this summer banger! Heavy as funk................ On ma toujours dit - Annie Philippe (Riviera Fra'), Annie Philippe belts her way through this little dancefloor filler...................................................... .........................
