ROCK MIDGETS 'It's not often a band releases a debut album that's this close to being fully formed. Far from being embryonic, Kill Casino are already a step towards being mature before they've even written their second album. Karen Luan and her band are certainly a group to look out for in the rest of 2007 and 2008... 4/5'

* BAND REVIEWS *
"New London trio Kill Casino render such notions as gender and cup-size as irrelevant by getting down to the business in hand; Namely rocking... In singer/bassist Karen Luan they have a secret weapon, and much needed focal point, a star in the making... KKKK"
KERRANG! MAGAZINE
"Icon in the making singer/bassist Karen Luan’s voice takes this band’s upbeat rock to another level…cutting up QOTSA - esque riffs over a stomping post punk back beat that leaves the likes of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs eating dirty venue floors... 4/5"
BIG CHEESE MAGAZINE
"This band is one of those rare treasures you occasionally come across on the UK music scene with something unique to offer."
ROCKSOMETHING.COM
"With a voice that flits seamlessly between sweet lilting pop melodies and kick-you-in-the-nuts rock, Luan brings a sense of credibility to the role of female lead singer. A perfect blend of captivating pop choruses and ballsy rock, and a faultless slice of pop-rock. 4/5"

BIOGRAPHY
Karen met Chris and they formed a band based on their collective love of stuff and things. They had a lot of incarnations and played a lot of shitholes but had a helluva lot of good times doing it.
In Summer 2006, they made their first festival appearance at Truck festival, Oxford, narrowly avoiding electrocution by lightening. Back in London word of the band was spreading and they were sharing stages with bigger names on the circuit, headlining Visible Noise's Subverse club in London and guesting at the legendary 'Rock' club at the Mean Fiddler.
In July 2006 they started recording their debut album, a feat that took them to no less than three different studios (and a lounge) over 8 long months under the patient guidance of Rob Haggett from top production combo/band, The Slips.
The album, 'I've been to London to see the Queen' hit the shelves to rave reviews in September 2007 via Nothing Stays Golden. Tracks from the album got played on Kerrang, Radio One Northern Ireland and XFM and the accompanying 'Stolen Eyes' video debuted online in Youtube's top 100 played artists.In August 2007 Paul-luc, who also loved stuff and things, joined the band.
