The First are a melodic rock band from Cambridgeshire, completing the line up during the summer of 2006 the band started working towards the release of their first EP, "Straight through til morning". The EP proves the bands abilty to blend driving rock soundscapes with catchy pop melodies, a unique sound that has lead them to support bands such as Wheatus, Gallows, Brigade, Bring Me The Horizon, Bloodhound Gang and thisGirl, to name but a few. 2007 brings the release of "Straight through 'til morning", an EP containing 5 radio friendly anthemic but melodic rock songs.
