Short Warning, a charismatic British pop punk/rock outfit from London and Buckinghamshire with its own exciting sound, style and live performance, was formed when twin brothers Nick (bass) and Gareth (drums) met singer/guitarist Carl in college. The line-up was finally completed when lead guitarist Calum joined the band in early 2005.
Breaking out of its local circuit in 2006, playing shows up and down the country, also touring with Useless ID (Kung Fu) and 4Ft Fingers (Golf). The band was interviewed and filmed by Redemption TV, which has been broadcast on numerous occassions. Finally entering Stakeout Studios in winter 2006 to record the debut album “Safety In Numbersâ€, emerging with 12 tracks of catchy and energetic pop punk that is soaked in melody.
Short Warning's debut album “Safety in Numbers†was released in May 2007 to good reviews. One of the tracks "Working Title" featured in the BBC 1 comedy/drama "All About Me". The band completed a successful “Safety In Numbers†tour followed up by further tours with Spunge and Fandangle. The band is currently writing new melody inspired songs for the next album.
