Band Members: Most of the band members have known each other for 10 years or more.
We met each other on different "obscure" occasions in other music groups,
street / theatergroups, klezmer and reggaebands, accoustic partybands, adventurous musical & theatre group on tour in South Africa and Brasil, accompanying a choir as musicians, several popbands with own material and many jamsessions.
Influences: We love music and styles from all kinds of cultures and countries and times.
Such as Klezmer , Rock&Roll, old Swing, Calypso, Cumbia, Tex-Mex, Son, Samba, Kaseko, Funk, Balkan, African, Irish, Arabic, Ska, Reggae, Jazz , soul.The only relevant criteria are : do we like it ? and can we play like that : )Special credits to our heros Frank Zappa and Duke Ellington two of the greatest composers/musicians of the last century
