In 2002, she lived for 6 months in New York City and had the opportunity to work for the famous hip hop label Rawkus Entertainment as a Media Relations Assistant where she helped promoting the compilation "Soundbombing 3". This experience in the heart of the US hip hop music industry was something unique. Also, during her stay in NYC she fulfilled her passion for black music in singing for The International Gospel Choir in Harlem. Today, she collaborates with Marco Da Mata as a vocal and she developed since 2004 a deep interest in deejaying techniques. Due to her diverse musical background, Ngoc Lan likes spinning records as different as hip hop and deep house.
