In 2006, I collaborated with french producer Quetzal and the result is "Onra & Quetzal present Tribute" . A hip-hop tribute to soul music. Soulful instrumentals that sound like hip-hop remixes to soul songs from late 60's to late 70's. We released the album in CD and there's one 7" vinyl.
I also worked with pianist Byron The Aquarius from Alabama, USA.
Together we are The Big Payback . Byron plays Fender Rhodes and synths, and I program the drum beats. We met on Myspace, started working together overnight, and made 30+ tracks in a few months. All songs were made late 2005/early 2006.
We got a track called "Cosmic Travelling" on Beat Dimensions compilation, selected by Jay Scarlett and Cinnaman, released by dutch label Rush Hour, available everywhere.
We're signed on this upcoming Japanese label called Circulations. Roster includes Shawn J Period, Pure P (Up Hygh), Reggie B, Super Smoky Soul, Morgan Spacek to name a few... We're also signed on Just Like, a french label. There are two different 12" vinyls and one album on cd. Also, Check out the new track The Big Payback feat. Reggie B "New Worlds", soon to be available in vinyl.

I started this project in August 2006, when I got back from a trip to Viet Nam, the land of my grandparents. As a vinyl junky, I really couldn't come back to France without bringing back some wax. After hours spent riding on a motorbike in Saigon streets, a taxi finally helped me find some old Asian records. I was feeling like an explorer discovering a forgotten treasure. I bought almost 30 vinyls, most of them in poor condition, went back to the crib, and started making beats with some material that I wasn't used to.
