About Me

I grew up in the beautiful wine country of Sonoma County, California. I really feel like I had a great childhood. Every year on my birthday, my parents would put together a huge setup in our backyard around the pool. My dad would put up a tent so my friends and I could camp out after watching scary movies and playing games in our living room. Then late at night while we were trying to sleep, my dad would sneak outside and start scratching the outside of the tent and making noises to scare us. He couldn't scare me, though -- not after repeating this same trick for ten years straight!I was a real tomboy back then. I loved to play in the dirt and collect tadpoles from the creek. And I'll never outgrow my love for playing football with my family. That's too much fun. In high school I played softball, ran track and was a cheerleader. I graduated a year early by taking college-level courses at a local junior college. I was very eager to get out of school and start a career, and school just seemed like a waste of time to me. So by the time I turned 18, I had my real estate license and had already been living on my own for a year with two girlfriends from school. It was a lot of fun, but I felt like there was something more in store for me. Soon I decided to move to LA with a friend to pursue an acting career. I began taking acting classes right away, and spent the first month of my new life sleeping on a couch in the house I was sharing with some new friends. My first jobs consisted of spokesmodel work at trade shows and being a Bud girl at bars. That was great fun, and great training for my future as a Playmate. We passed out key chains, mingled and took pictures with patrons. It was almost like being on a Playmate promotion! And I really started to get into the LA nightlife. I met so many new people when we went out dancing. I also started working at movie premieres -- for example, at the premiere for Boogie Nights, to honor the hot tub theme of the party, a bunch of other models and I relaxed in a hot tub the entire time. Hard work, huh? Once I got my agent, work began to come to me faster than ever, from Babylon 5 to Beverly Hills 90210 to The New Love Boat to my first experience with a live audience on Jesse. There were also plenty of commercials coming my way. Things were starting to go very well for me.Here I am when I was a series regular on Baywatch Hawaii. I was so shocked when I got this part. I called my mom right away and we both cried and screamed with joy. This was such a great opportunity for me, and the cast was wonderful. I felt like I was part of another close family.Since my adventure with Playboy began, I've also had other fun and interesting parts to play: I was a Bond girl in a series of comic wraparounds spoofing James Bond on TBS, and also helped host that network's Dinner & a Movie along with some Playmate friends. I've appeared on The View and Howard Stern's show. I've hosted on Gillian Bonner's new site, Sexnrocknroll.com, interviewing Fred Durst and the guys from Godsmack. They were all so cool and unpretentious, and so excited to meet Hef. I'll continue to look for more opportunities to grow as an actress. You haven't seen the last of this California girl!Myspace Layouts
