Joe Kickarse was founded, in true aussie fashion, over a few beers at the local by Ricky Business and Super Steve Steele. After years of experimenting with additions to the band, 2 faces finally emerged, a Mr. Johnny Waygood and most recently, Paulie McCool.
When these 4 combine their forces in front of the many arsekickers they so passionately perform for, the sweet melodies, incredible harmonies, sexy bass lines, rockin guitar sound and tight drumming mould together in a unique yet familiar sound that gets the rockers rocking and the lovers swooning.
Fresh on the Brisbane gig scene, this bands dedication to have their music heard by the masses has never been stronger. Having just finished recording their debut EP in Johnny Waygoods sweaty makeshift recording studio ie. basement with the help of a couple of mates, the quality of this recording clearly shows that these boys not only mean business, but also have all the right ingredients for success.
