I enjoy exploring new places and revisiting old ones. I have a strong appreciation for experiencing other cultures including, but not limited to their religion, traditions, music, art & fashion. Engaging in a true experience, not as a tourist, but being a part of their lifestyle... if welcomed. Mentally and physically challenging myself & being challenged by outside influences. Challenges that remind me to live for the day, moment & minute. Setting goals with boundaries to know thyself completely! My family are a precious part of my life. Along with meeting new people and keeping in touch with old friends retains a continuous smile on my face! Learning to step outside the bubble to engage in peace of mind, my mind, has been a constant lesson! However, spending time drawing, painting, mixing music all contribute to the balance within. As well you can always count on me to attend art exhibits, book reviews/readings, poetry readings and spending hours in the public library that also keep me smiling! I am a movie junkie...It amazes me how much time I can spend doing everything, but work!!!! You will not find me in a gym working out! Right before sunset is my favorite time to hike AND late night bike rides are a must...especially when there's a full moon! AND then there's my mad, passionate affair with music & dance that according to me mum ignited the moment she felt my kick in her belly...I guess I boogied out and into the world! I just can't get enough of deep, jazzy, funky, soulful house music, d&b, rare grooves...It will get me out and on the dance floor everytime!
