A Chicago native, Charissa enjoyed a rich and diversified musical upbringing steeped in Jazz, Blues and Folk music. College in New Orleans only deepened her affinity toward all things soulful and sultry. Proud to call Los Angeles her home, Charissa continues to broaden musical horizons by embracing local flavor. Be it on the stage with acclaimed "Queen of SalSoul" Cecilia Noel or in the studio with Jane's Addiction frontman Perry Farrell, Charissa will charm you with her spirit and dazzle you with her voice.
