Hey, I'm Tyler Emond
Originally from Ottawa, On, I now live in Toronto working as a freelance bass player (acoustic and electric). I'm into a lot of different music, but my own group "Pikaia", plays mostly jazz and rock influenced stuff. Some of the people I play with (or played with in the past) other than my own groups include: Matt Dusk, Bryan Vargas and YA ESTA, M-1 (Dead Prez), Wise Intelligent (Poor Righteous Teachers), Ted Quinlan, Adrean Farrugia, Norman Marshall-Villeneuve, Nancy Walker, Sophia Pearlman, Marcus Ali, Nick Ali, Paul De Long, Jeff King, Joe Poole, Robbi Botos, William Carn, Luisito Orbegoso, Enlight, PHATT al, Paco Luviano, Alexis Baro, Chris Lamont, Ruben Esguerra, Tom Juhas, Max Roach, Colin Kingsmore, Stu Harrison, and on a few occasions I got to play with Steve Gadd, Dave Liebman, Dave Douglas, and Randy Brecker.
