About Me

I'm a total oddball (thank goodness!). I do everything my own way and thus far despite setbacks here and there everything is turning out alright. I'm quite a social person despite my inability to engage in small talk, and being so I've met alot of people in my life. Some are good, some not so good. I've had just as many rewarding experiences as tragic ones, and my experiences are varied and...uh...unique.------------------------------------------ ------------------------I've travelled quite a bit and lived in alot of places, seen alot of things and have known so many different people. I've seen things from many different viewpoints. I've seen the beauty of Paris, felt the laid back groove of Amsterdam, the insanity of living in the Canaries, and I currently live in a very cold, boring place chock full of overprivileged socialists (is there any other kind?), called Northern Ireland.---------------------------------------------------- -------------------- I get excited over small things. Seeing flowers on a small patch of grass can have me mesmerized for a few minutes. I DO stop and smell roses (and any other fragrant flower) every single time I get the chance. I feel the most at ease and peaceful in the middle of the woods (I think that part of me wants to be a hermit). When I feel things I really feel them. I've had a hard time my whole life with constructing the same facades that everyone else seems to have perfected--the ones that hide our imperfections. Whether or not I like it, my heart is always on my sleeve, and so is my (out)rage.-------------------------------------------------- ----- Ordinary people bore me. I love people who can critically think and are open to alot of possibilities. I love to laugh and goof around, so I cherish a sense of humor. I have no respect for people who can't take responsibility for themselves and their actions, or anyone who refuses to have opinions (or just has the opinions of the tv or school) because they dont actually want to think.------------------------------------------------------ ------------- I make no apologies for my opinions even if they are offensive as anything will offend someone somewhere in the world.------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------ This profile was tweaked at MyspaceGeeks.com

My Interests

Economics, Healing Arts, Politics, Self-sufficiencyp My score on The Politics Test :

Right Libertarian
(You scored 73% Personal Liberty and 80% Economic Liberty!)

A right libertarian believes in little to moderate government intervention on personal matters and little to no government intervention on economic matters. They generally believe in a government that is extremely small and limited to the extent of protecting people's liberty. They tend to be strongly opposed to war, police powers, victimless crimes, foreign intervention and what they consider to be a welfare state. They strongly support property rights and support self-ownership. They strongly support capitalism as an economic system. Libertarian thought is individualist in nature.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone with a truly open mind. I find that many so called "open minded" people are only open to ideas that are politically correct, risque, immoral or offensive. A truly open mind draws conclusions by having a good look at all sides of an issue and basing those conclusions on sense rather than idealism.
Your Rising Sign is Aquarius
You are an interesting mix of introspective and outlandish.
Waving your freak flag high, you really do things your own way.

While you may seem distant, you care very deeply for humanity.
You just have no tolerance for fools, slackers, or dullards.

And while you're fairly misanthropic, many are drawn to you.
Innovative and clever, people look to you for new ideas and trends. What's Your Rising Sign? This is actually the most accurate online astrology thingy I've ever seen!!------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ ----------------------------------------Ron Paul for President 2008!! Brief Overview of Congressman Paul’s RecordHe has never voted to raise taxes. He has never voted for an unbalanced budget. He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership. He has never voted to raise congressional pay. He has never taken a government-paid junket. He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch. He voted against the Patriot Act. He voted against regulating the Internet. He voted against the Iraq war.He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program. He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.Congressman Paul introduces numerous pieces of substantive legislation each year, probably more than any single member of Congress.

Music:

Anything with meaning. I don't like wimpy music, I don't like music that doesn't make me feel something deep inside--whether it is joy or rage, it must excite a passion..

JULY 23, 2007 C-SPAN WASHINGTON JOURNAL

Movies:

Not a big movie buff, but saw Elizabeth recently--loved it! Beastmaster (yea, I said Beastmaster!) 28 days later, Labyrinth, The Dark Crystal, The Stand, and A History of Violence.

Television:

Fuck tv, it is a device invented to brainwash the masses, and its doing a damn good job since every time I try to have a conversation about anything I hear immediately "I saw this program on tv about..." And no one ever takes the time to find out if what is presented to them on tv or in movies is true at all, they just take it at face value, not considering what has been edited, or what the presenter's slant or bias is. Read a fucking book, find out for yourself--and always have an objective look at the counter argument.

Books:

So many. Far too many to list them all. "Man and Microbes", "The Marketing of Evil", "The Grapes of Wrath", "1984", "Animal Farm", "Crossing the Rubicon: The Decline of The American Empire at The End of The Age of Oil" "The War on Freedom", "The Unseen Hand". I've read almost every novel by many authors (Stephen King, Sidney Sheldon, Robin Cook, John Grisham and others) when I was young as my face was never out of a book. I am waiting to return to the US to get my copy of Ron Paul's "revolution--The Manifesto". Though I have read some of it before, I'm going to once again try to tackle the holy bible.

Heroes:

My Grandmother Sima Levin, and... Ron Paul!
