Simtaot is a newspaper about alternative and underground culture in Israel, it is a tool for musicians, thinkers, places and ideas to get the recognition they deserve. Now that is a pretty bombastic definition... What it really means is that there are too many special features in the Israeli culture that are not exposed to the general public. In fact they are hardly exposed to the public that is seeking them.
But there is something that can be done about it, that something is Simtaot. A freely distributed printed paper that is written, edited, designed and cared for by volunteers. People who think that the "underground scene" In Israel is too important to go unnoticed have decided to take an active part in creating a voice for it.
