Formed in early 2007 in the South of England, bringing metal to anyone and everyone. Influenced by different cultures, politics, religion and many bands throughout the globe and history to deliver a unique and brutal charge! We pride ourselves on writing music and lyrics that can send a message and reflect our current world. With solid beats, thrashing guitars and crushing vocals. We are Akakios!
Our name taken from ancient greek meaning "Innocent, Not Evil", a negative prefix, combined with kakn (kake) meaning "evil". This is to show that even the innocent of souls can be turned to a darker side!
We love nothing more than playing brutal shows to the hundreds of mental metal fans that we see. If you are one of them and you want to see us play a show in your area then let us know, and if we are playing in a town near you then come get your ass in that pit, headbang, windmill and after come say hello!!

"They have gigged here before and were greeted with, "Oooh, that’s the Akakios boys," as they walked in, so their reputation certainly preceded them. This can be a double-edged sword because they have expectations to live up to after that, but the boys did well. Despite their innocent exteriors, they are brutal once playing. Not as accessible as the other bands on the night due to their intense and brutal style, this endeared them to the most hardcore members of the crowd and instantaneously started a pit which continued for most of their songs.
