Mike “Rev” Gary is a native of Connecticut, now residing in Baltimore, MD. Rev traces his roots in hip-hop back to 1980, where he watched and listened to the various local DJ's spin at block parties. He and his older brothers often got in trouble for breaking Mom's turntable and records while practicing their scratching skills. Rev also recalls making beats while banging on the tables....the walls...trash cans...or anything else in sight....and of course....getting in trouble for that. After forming various groups during the mid to late 1980’s, Rev chose to work solo as rapper and producer for many years. In addition to making beats, Rev is now a Christian Rapper, and Pulpit Preacher. He desires to serve God in the Hip-Hop world, by helping artists to face the issues that would otherwise prevent them from developing the talent God has given them.
