Local Highrise Is Officially Closed

Hey guys, we're fucking busy, and we love it.
Blogs have the available dates for February/March/April and if you want more details on booking www.localhighrise.com/booking.html has all of the info on Friday/Saturday/Sunday shows, and for a Monday or Wednesday show it's just a 50/50 split of any door/ticket sales for your band.
We're also working on getting together an advertising plan to pitch to companies or bands with more money than they should have, so if you know someone that would benefit from a banner in the Highrise, let us/them know
Lastly, I'm going to try and get more bands some decent demos coming up. I haven't done the studio thing since I did it for the Getaways quite some time ago, but now that the weather is going to be getting nicer soon, I think it's time to start getting some recordings done.
www.myspace.com/savingschmidty is the official studio myspace with samples from bands as we record them. We're offering pre show, non-hourly, studio sessions at $20 a song. If you come and record, be gentle with how many takes you do. Getting the song right is one thing, but getting it right 30 times, just because you can... ridiculous.
If you're a band playing and need to get your first demo done, but don't have the money for hourly sessions, we'll be more than happy to work with you any day we have a show between 10 or so and 4 when load in starts, and we can see how many songs we can get done. Obviously this works best for bands who are playing a show that date, so if you're a band not playing a show for us, but really want to try out the studio, contact us for scheduling something, we love nights but can do probably any time that a show isn't going on.
First band we're going to have back in is Prove It before their show on February 23rd, so come down and check them out, and if you don't get to hear what we can do now before hand, let us know and we can give a listen to their freshly recorded (but pre mixed) songs.
