When L. Easy steps on the stage everyone takes notice. Whether its the 80 or so bars of freestyle he spits off the top, or one of his smash singles he's acquired under his belt. L Easy is establishing himself as one of the New south's rawest unsigned talents. Come see a show and you'll see L. Easy's certainly at the top of his game, with chart worthy hits to hood boppers he's elevated the southern rap phenomenom to a new level. Originally born in New York the birthplace of Hip Hop, L Easy was influenced at a young age. But as a youngster, the hardships and hard knocks of the street life led him to a new home, and new path in South Carolina. It didn't take long for him to get noticed in the small town scene. But the Hip Hop community had little concern with the burgeoning south carolina rap scene, which at the time was filled with rap hustlers, and "A"- town sound alikes. Determined to put his town on the map, and still be a pioneer for the new South sound, he made his way to the meccas in Atlanta, and Orlando. It was in the latter, he joined-up with the beat meister DJ Jukey and went on to produce a string of hit singles. Heard on the radio in major southern cities like Atlanta, GA; Orlando, Tampa, Charlotte, and Greenvile, SC ( "We Can Make It", "Ride Out", "Let's Roll Pt.2" ) the singles are out now in a compilation titled "The Vintage EP". It seems momentarily that the Hip Hop heads are taking notice of the hidden talent away from the epicenter of Southern Rap. But L.Easy continues to blaze new territories and stretch the possiblities of southern hip hop, as the likes of Outkast, Scarface, and Ludacris. Future releases, featuring the cleverly crafted production of Atlanta native Sam "Jukey" Abebe, will soon be ready for distribution. Look out for his opening acts for major southern tours in the 2005 season.
