Joshua Davis A.K.A The Product A.K.A Socket 1ne has been a dilligent producer for more than 7 bands, he has also branched out and nurtured 9 MC's and 3 Vocal Artists. When he's not making music or refining music for these groups, he spends time MC'ing himself over local southern california and south florida Drum and Bass DJ's and still manages time to throw in a breakdancing session or two a week. Starting at age 12, he got himself involved in Role Model Entertainment with long time friends Corey Flores (Random) and Jerry Turner. This then led him to production and live sound recording. His love for the stage enabled him to join in with many bands, ranging from hip hop/funk, to experimental and scream metal. Unsigned himself, Josh recognizes what all great producers need at the beginning of their careers in order to have longevity in the industry: Love.
Love for the music, the artform, the originality, the heart of the music. Never swayed by talks of granduer thoughts or dumbed down dance music, he strives to bring change to a somewhat lost culture of hip hop.
