Nick started DJing in the early 90’s when he landed slots at several big events in the heart of Sheffield. He began his career at ‘Trash’ and progressed to become a ‘Niche’ resident for six years in 1993. Whilst holding his residency at one of the most infamous speed garage and bassline clubs in the UK, he got into music production.Nick has had several big hits over the years. He produced ‘Touch Me’ under the Naughty Crew guise, as well as the massive ‘Naughty Nick Rises Again EP’. These tracks proved to be massive hits in the clubs, and he still continues to produce having recently collaborated with DJ Veteran to create ‘Bassbug’.In 2004, Nick started his own business by opening the Studio Beatz record shop in the centre of Sheffield. Whilst running the business, he also started several record labels which signed some of the biggest tracks to have hit the bassline scene today.Nick's record labels are... Studiobeatz Records,Krush Records,Bulleye records,Rude & Krude Records & Ying Yang Records which features Artist’s such as ,Orchestral Dubs,Bullseye,Bassface, Jon Buccieri,Mr Bass,Speed Avengers, DJ Veteran, Zibba and JD Beatz have all been signed to Nick’s labels.In January 2006, Nick started to promote his own event, the ‘Krush Allnighter’. This was held in the Citrus Rooms Nightclub in Barnsley centre and was a Funky House and Bassline event. ‘Krush’ proved to be very successful with people being turned away due to the club being full. ‘Krush’ is still running and proving to be extremely popular.In May 06 Nick Proudly returned back to his favourite club Niche , where he plays on a monthly basis hosting his Studiobeatz Records Party on the first Friday of every month.Nick also hosts the NicheAllnighter Radio Show Every Wednesday On Basscutz Live 4 – 6
