Hey peepz, thanx for checking me out! Im Currently back home now in the UK getting ready to tour with those imfamous Cut up boys & start my new residency with Hed Kandi. Theres been some mad parties this month and no doubt over the course of the next few months, they'll be plenty more memorable nights :)If you've rocked off to Joshy boy or just fancy leaving a holla, then defo dont be shy! Thanx to every1 who keeps in contact via here & have to give a massive thanx to everyone who's helped me along in my DJ journey so far, without your help I wouldnt be where i am today, massive thanx to God and my close freinds and family who've seen me through literally everything! Joshua Roberts Biog
Joshua Roberts is without doubt one of the most exciting and energetic young DJ’s on the circuit. Soon after he started mixing at just 11 years old he was already being recognized for both his mixing ability and his capability to move the crowd. At the age of 15 he had already appeared on his regions top radio station (Kiss) and at the age of 17 he became a national champion, winning the BBC Radio 1 & UKCC National Young DJ Search; a nationwide competition for 14 – 17 year olds to showcase their mixing talents. After a summer touring the nation, he was asked to play the opening set at Radio 1’s One Big Weekend in Birmingham, where he performed an unforgettable set in front of over 4,000 party go-ers, setting the mood with some of the biggest names in the dance music industry.
Already at 20 years of age Josh has played across the globe, making him one of the most well traveled DJ’s for his age. He has also appeared on BBC1, MTV Dance and been featured in DJ Magazine. After spending this summer rocking some of the coolest parties @ the world famous Ministry of Sound beach club & the worlds first Hed Kandi Beach bar out in the Red Sea, Josh looks forward to joining forces with legendary clubbing superbrand Hed Kandi as a resident for some of their top UK & worldwide dates. “I see this is a great opportunity to take my sound & style of play to the next level” beams Josh. He also looks forward to continuing his residency with Radio 1 superstars ‘The Cut up boys’, keeping their nationwide tour well and truly rocking!
Josh is renowned for his fresh and creative style of play, and best describes his style as “Funky, Uplifting, Dirty and Delightful”. His energetic and charismatic presence behind the decks is something which has been noticed across the board, not to mention his unpredictable and exciting approach to mixing. “I love being creative with my tunes. Mixing, cutting and scratching my way through my sets whilst getting the crowd hyped up to the max”, something which has gained him major recognition and earned him bookings alongside the likes of Tiesto, David Guetta, Fatboy Slim, Judge Jules, Graham Gold, Brandon Block, The Freemasons, Tim Westwood & more!
2008 is promising to be a spectacular year for the young DJ, book early to avoid disappointment!
